I am a proud member of Generation X! I have been a Linux Engineer for my career for over 25 years. But permit me to be to the point for a moment. That is my career. It does not encapsulate who I am. In social events people will ask me, "What do you do?" I tell them, "I read and write poetry. I study the Greek philosophers. I read the classic novels that you hold in your hand. I am an avid fan of the history of physics. I am a worshipper of US American History. I am an erudite."
Enjoy what you do. Never let it become who you are.
